About
Aaron King is currently available for both freelance and project based assignments. He is skilled at leading large project teams, as well as designing concept boards.
A true medium agnostic, he strives to create engaging brand experiences no matter the venue. He partners with the best in the business to produce ideas that move. What do you want to move? Ideas, opinions, markets, audiences… feelings? Today’s integrated brands demand ideas that transcend medium and connect to their audience, no matter the time or place.
King has focused on brand building in both entertainment and commercial sectors for the last 25 years. His early experience took him from the client side of the business to branding power house, Pittard Sullivan, where he served as designer and director in both Los Angeles and New York offices.
His years building brands has taught him that a brand is more than a single design – that it’s the values behind the design that drives the culture of the enterprise, and defines the relationship between brand and consumer. A great brand is truly more than the sum of its parts and he has dedicated his career to shepherding that process.
He has applied this discipline to projects for Showtime, HBO, ABC, CBS, MTV, SyFy, iNDemand, Disney, Paramount, Saatchi & Saatchi, Y&R, DraftFCB, Grey, McCann and Citi – to name a few. While leading Joyride as Creative Director he led the rebrand of the Lifetime Movie Network, LMN, as well as promo campaigns for ESPN’s coverage of The (British) Open, and College Basketball coverage.
A study in contrast, he splits his free time between perfecting the art of falling down a mountain through snowboarding and perfecting his neutral buoyancy in scuba – both of which fulfill his dream of flying!
Do you have a creative challenge? Bring it on.
